We live in a world of consumerism where for many decades there has been a throw away culture - buy it, use it, throw it away. Almost a prevailing ideology in some quarters, and one that has led to many products in effect being designed as “disposable”.

Such products are typically manufactured with little thought to where the materials come from or where they are going to end up, and what effect this is having on our environment.

The philosophy at TRIBE has always been the opposite of this approach and to consider the environmental impact in all that we offer.

With our ReGen Range we are looking at how we can "Reclaim, Recycle, Reuse" materials to reduce the amount of virgin material used in manufacturing, and to repurpose material that many have deemed as "waste".

Creating products that are designed to last, that will be as good as new years down the line, and after much use, helping to reduce landfill for years to come.

It's not just about recycling, how it's manufactured is just as important too, and the first product in the ReGen Range, a yoga mat, is manufactured in Germany in a certified zero emission, zero waste, green manufacturing facility.

It is also OEKO-TEX® certified as containing no harmful substances, and brought to New Zealand via Carbon Neutral shipping.
